This website is mainly intended for artists and art collectors to interact and deal with each other in the business of buying and selling art online. As such, the Forums, Gallery and Blogs are a great place to get to know each other. Artists and photographers can use the Gallery to showcase portfolios of their work. Art collectors who want to buy directly from artists can introduce themselves in the Forums and use the live chat facility to strike a deal, arrange shipping or simply make general inquiries about the artists and their work.

Members of the ArtBlast.com Forums are automatically members of the classified ads section of the site. When a member is logged-in to the Forums, they can also access all of the member features of the Classified Ads section - without needing to log-in again. (However, due to a yet to be resolved small technical hitch, logging-in via the Classified Ads section does not automatically log a member in to the Forums. Same thing with logging-out... If you log-out of the Classified Ads section, this will not automatically log uou-out from the Forums.)

Whereas ArtFreaks.com is primarily intended as a social networking site for amateur and semi-professional artists and photographers; ArtBlast.com is supposed to be more commercially orientated - to make it easy for artists, dealers and private collectors to buy and sell works of art online.
Members of the Forums can use the Free Classified Ads section to advertise their art for sale. Artists and photographers can also use the Forums > Gallery to upload entire online portfolios of the work.
The Downloads section of the Forums is ideal for members who want to upload larger files. (The current free upload limit is 20MB - perfect for high resolution, print-quality image files and short video clips to advertise one's gallery or art installation project.)
